Will the University of St. Augustine Austin DPT program be accredited immediately because USA has sister PT programs in Cali & FL?

Where have you heard this? My thought was that all new schools go through a separate review process with CAPTE irregardless of their affiliation. But I could be wrong. Or confused lol.

The University of St. Augustine Austin is my first choice so I hope they get their accreditation.

I emailed the program directly and this is their response: " Thanks for your interest in our program. The Austin DPT program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) with a final site visit scheduled to occur next fall once we are fully operational as the final step in that process. The University of St. Augustine is private school with campuses in St. Augustine, Florida and San Marcos, California. CAPTE accredits the DPT programs we deliver on all 3 campuses. "

Yep. They're already accredited. Found USA Austin under CAPTE accredited programs and not under developing programs.
