I did apply to Western, but they haven't sent me their supplemental application yet. Other than that, I'm crossing my fingers about USC. Hopefully I'll get an interview in November.
As for cooking at UOP, depends: who's paying for the food? Remember, we'll all be broke....lol.

Yes I did submit the paper application cuz I know by the time their online supp. application gets up it won't be early enough. I really want to increase my chances for getting in, and that means submitting the app. asap. But that doesn't mean you can slack off on the app. just because you send it in early, you know....

What did you answer #26 on your USC supp ap? I tried emailing them, but no answer. I'm not sure what they're referring to when they ask to write about the "following". What does that mean? Thanks for all of your help.

THe application issues are on the page before the recommendations forms. There are 3 questions, somewhat interrelated, and you have to answer 2 out of 3 of them. If you are reapplying, you have a separate question to write an essay on.
Just got my supplemental application to Western. They sure do ask a lot of questions. And here I go again, forking over another 60 bucks, and starting another application. Seems like it'll never end....!

Well, that was sure dumb. I hate doing these aps, especially the PharmCAS transcripts, since I went to 4 different colleges interspersed b/n high school and college.

USC peeps: How long did you have to wait after you submitted your application to get an invitation for an interview? I'm counting the days, and it's been a week already, and I know I have a WHILE to go, but can you please give me a ball-park range so I don't pull my hair out? Thanx bunches!
My sitch was kinda unique. I sent my app at the deadline and didn't realize that they were serious about that resume thing, so in the middle of january i get this letter saying that my app was incomplete bc i didn't include it, and that nothing would proceed until that was received. The next day, i get an e-mail from Xin Gong in the admissions office saying they wanted to skej me for interview that month. I said 'you bet'. Not to toot my horn (yeah right), but they were totally jockin me to interview there. It was cool bc i just had my ucsf iv about ten days prior so i was all geared up. At any rate, you won't have to wait long at all. I'm sure you'll hear by the end of october for a november iv. It's a really cool school. I continue to be impressed.
I sent in my app towards the deadline (Dec. 31) and I didn't get an interview until mid March (the very last interview group).....
