I got a letter from USC/CHMC saying that they'll be discontinuing their academic affiliation in June 2018. Anyone have any idea why?
Just wondering if it was a business decision, or if there have been ~things~ going on at CHMC or in the residency that caused USC to end their affiliation (or if it was the other way around! was USC not treating them well?) . I know CHMC is considered part of Dignity health now (unsure how new that is?) and I'm not local to the area so I have no idea what might impact such a decision. I'm interviewing there later this month so wondering what to expect.
