i did 7/8 th crown. they gave that there is caries in the disto buccal area and not on the disto occlusal aspect .then why u involved the disto occlusal part by doing onlay?

i thought about this for a while during the test, then i remembered that class 2 lessions do not necessarily mean occlussal caries with extension into the proximal area, but can be just a caries on the proximal area as well.

I think that my carving was OK, at least I made the tooth in the size they asked hehe. And about the RPD design I know I have a mistake 😳.

Toothfairy482, are you sure 7/8?? because it was an MO amalgan, with cavity in DO and fracture lingual cusp (1.5 mm). The buccal surface was fine and patient wanted to preserve tooth structure so why going for 7/8? Anyways, let's hope for the best
