After the interview, each student is ranked on the alternate list. Does anyone know, if there is a formula like UNLV, or how you are ranked? How much does the interview influence youre ranking, or is it mostly academic?
I thought the whole interview thing was a bit weird. The only thing they can judge an applicant on is the mock PBL session. I dont know how that went for others, but my facilitators made notes for maybe the first 2.5 minutes, and then turned their clipboards upside down and didnt even look like they were paying attention. That lead me to believe that admissions decisions were made primarily using the AADSAS application and supplemental questionnaire thing you turn in at the interview.
As for the rest of your questions, cant help you there. I do know that USC is notorious for filling their class later in the season, with lots of acceptance letters sent out in the spring.
I don't think that USC has a points scale to rank people but if you interview there is about a fifty percent chance the you will be a trojan next fall. They do accept a lot of the class later on so if you haven't heard anything yet don't get too discouraged a lot of my class got accepted later on.
