I just got my USC interview invite an hour ago. According to the email, they will have 5 dates, with a max of 30 people per day. Looks like they are planning on interviewing about 100-120 people (assuming that a few people will turn down the invite).

when did you guys apply if you are just getting interviews now? I haven't heard a peep out of USC yet either and wondering how late they go on interviewing and where in the batch of apps they are right now.

Also, did any of you get that continuing review email from them and still got an interview now?

If you are who i think you are jem, you looked like you had a fun time at our mock PBL. 😉 you even came back for another try!

and, I don't find USC all that special, but some people really enjoy the experience, so you might want to check it out if it's not too much trouble for you!

It seems as though most applicants received this "status update" letter. There was a lot of talk about it on another recent thread.

As far as wanting to know stats for those with USC interviews/acceptances, go to www.predents.com.

Okay......... geez I feel so stupid but I just checked my status of USC and it seems I haven't paid the app. fee and my app is "under review". I just thought I paid it because i received a letter a couple of weeks ago saying that I am still being reviewed. Do you guys still think it is worth it to pay it? Or is it too late in the game? I don't think me not paying the fee prevented me from getting an interview b/c they still mailed me updates in the mail, but they never mentioned anything about the check. Seeing that they already sent out there second round of invites, I don't know if I should spend the 85 bucks or if I should save it. Any thoughts would be appreciated!!!

USC is notorious for filling their class late. In one of their letters they state that 25% of the class will be filled in December, then another 25%, then another 25%, with the remaining 25% in May.

So there is still hope.

Oh yeah, I would recommend calling the admission office asap to get that whole application fee thing cleared up!

Thanks, I just called the admissions office and they told me to mail the check to the actual bank???? Can someone please verify the address they sent their check to? I am a little bit OCD and I don't want to worry about whether or not I sent my check to the correct address. Thanks in advance

They had me send a check to the admissions office (at least I think so). But if they told you to send it there, who's to argue?

My dad went there (he died in 1984) in the 60's, and my uncle went there in the 60's too. Since my dad died, and my uncle went there a generation ago I have no pull there any more. I am pretty much the biggest USC football fan there is, I grew up watching it and I have been to dozens of games including road games. I love the program and I really want to get in, this might be the only school that I have any chance at getting in at, so let me know what I can do at the interviews to help my chances I would really be grateful if you could help me out.

There was someone in my interview group who had not sent in their money either, but they said they wouldn't look give a final look at his application or accept him until they received it lol.

I got an invite too, I'm going on Feb 29 right after my UNLV interview on Feb 28. It's going to be a good week.

I'm hoping something comes out of these interviews, it's all I have.
