At Arizona we started our Pain Control module today, and it is being taught by Stanley Malamed from USC.

Any insights? I know he is a spectacular and very well-known guy--tops in his field.

UPDATE: I've been listening to Dr. Malamed for 20 minutes now, and he is PHENOMENAL! Hilarious AND brilliant!

He taught our freshman CPR class during orientation. I probably won't have too much contact with him until second year, but all the upper classman and even some faculty rave about him. I believe his text books on sedation are "the standard" and have been used in medical and dental schools nationwide. We're also fortunate to have the president of ADA, Dr. Sekiguchi and many other top faculty here at USC....and our football team rules!

Yes, you do have a sweet school. Dr. Sekiguchi presided over our opening day here at ASDOH.
