USC Post Interview Status changed to alternate???? bad???

hey guys
so i had my interview at USC in October

i havent logged on to the status check in awhile, but after I did
i saw my status had been changed to "alternate"???

anyone know if this means i'm not getting december1st invite or i'm on the waiting list?

Same thing happened to me and another friend. I emailed Brian and he said the computer automatically does that for everyone after they've had their interview, so nothing to worry about
