USC SDners Meet Up Notice

Hi everyone. This is Mike again. Orientation is almost here!!! I hope everyone had a great summer. I just want to let everyone that is still interested that I am still planning the little get together for USC SDners on the night of the 15th.

I need everyone's emails because doing a mass email is just more efficient and easier to coordinate than using the forums. I'm not from the LA area so I had to ask a few folks about a good place to hang out.

Sheena (Ilovepharmacy) suggested that we go to BJs, a Chicago style pizzeria with their own brewery. What's better than pizza? Pizza and Beer!!!

I hope everyone is ok with that because this place is suppose to be pretty chill and good atmosphere. Since there might be a lot of people coming, I didn't want to go to a too sit down of place where the ordering of food can get quite hectic.

Anyways please private message me with your emails asap or just return the private message I sent some of you. I will send out the email hopefully later on this week.

Hey guys! I know I suggested BJ's - but only because I'm addicted to the place and it's happy hours... and it has good pizza and dessert... and beer 😛 However, if any of you can think of a better place to go to eat and hang out please do throw out your ideas!

I just wanted to point out that the closest BJ's to the HSC/LA/Alhambra area (I'm guessing most of you are living around there?) are located in Burbank and Arcadia (~10 miles away). Burbank BJ's will take about 45 min. to get to because of traffic on the 5 fwy 🙁 The one in Arcadia will be quicker to get to if you take surface streets (about 15-20 min.). So, if no one has a problem with going to BJs in Arcadia, lets-go! 😀

Great idea on the BJ's........, Ilovepharmacy, a couple pints and a personal pizza at BJ's happy hour is addicting! Arcadia sounds good to me. I hope I can make it.

If you have not heard, there will be an assessment extra credit quiz on monday for biosystem. The questions are very general and you dont need to study for it but be sure you are not there late or you will miss it.
