Thanks alot I thought only UOP had such advanced technology but apparently USC is also spending some of its money.
 
thanks for the heads up! mine hasn't been updated since 9/5/06 and still says unreviewed though.

Mine also says unreviewed. Yet I have already had an interview and been accepted. Just shows they don't update this website often.
 
What does:

Status "Level IV" mean??

That's what mine says but I have no idea what that means. I had an interview in october.

I got acceptance letter and mine says level IV too

well mine says unreviewed since 9/1/06!!! I got the moving to critical review letter about 2 months ago though!😕
 
mine said level II and i don't have interview yet.
 
I am guessing that the level numbers indicate which part of the application "stage" you're currently in.

If you're in level III, you've passed the initial level I screening process, then passed the level II screening process.

I am guessing that level III means that you're qualified to be invited for an interview.

Level IV probably means pat yourself on the back because you've been accepted to USC.

I don't know about that, because I have a staus level of IV and have not been accepted yet
 
Mine said "Unreviewed", but a couple weeks ago I got a letter saying I passed an initial review, and would now go through a more thorough one. Who knows what my status really is.
 
By the way, did anyone who has interviewed at USC recieve a similar letter before they got an invite?
 
mine says level 3 on 1/10 but i haven't gotten an interview yet. is anyone in the same boat as me?
 
I was at level IV for awhile, but I just got the email last friday that I was accepted off of what I assume was the wait list. Now instead of level IV, it says accepted.

I also have level III, but it was last updated on 12/07 and still no word in the mail so..... By the way, where did you guys come across the knowledge of this update site for usc?
 
I was poking around USC's website and stumbled across it. I called them today and they said they'll be interviewing until April.
 
I searched around a little bit and was unable to find it so I was just wondering. Thanks for the update about their progress Cymbidium.
 
it probably took about 45 minutes of poking around on their webpage before I found it. And I probably couldn't find it again if you asked me! Also if you call they'll tell you when you're up for review. They told me I'm up for review in early Feb.

I have no idea! I know I'm at level III - critical review, but I don't know if my review in Feb. will translate into an interview. Here's hoping it does!
 
Hey guys...

I'm a level III status, but they had the wrong address listed in the webpage.

Should I call them or does Level III mean anything?
 
so i called sc the other day just bc i hadn't heard from them in a while, and they said my application hadn't been reviewed yet, and it would be reviewed in a few weeks. then a few weeks after that, i should here.

and i'm bored at the airport right now so i decide to check my status, and it says "interview the applicant!" great news while waiting at the airport! but weird how they said my app hadn't even been reviewed.

now i'm pretty excited, i must say, just cuz i've always been a huge sc fan. almost went to undergrad there, but didn't want to pile on the debt when i knew i was gonna pursue dentistry.

i hope this status website isn't just some sick trick.

Yeah I am at level 4 and haven't yet been accepted either. interviewed 2 weeks ago.
 
My status just changed today from Level III to "Under Review". I hope it changes to "interview".

mine too....it just changed to "under review" today. does this mean the next step is an interview?
 
here's hoping we get interviews!

I guess it means we'll be invited for an interview, or placed back in the level 3 pile, or flat out rejected.

yeah so mine was at level II yesterday, but it changed straight to "under review?" i really really really really really really hope this means an interview...soon.
 
under review just means that they are going to review your files later, it could mean interivews, rejections, future consideration, or whatsoever. If you have an interview it will straight up say "interviews" so for those w/ "under review" it means nothing. I already went for interivew long time ago but mine says level IV, i guess it means I'm on the waitlist and are being considered for acceptance.

I have "no status" too! What does "no status" mean? That's just crazy.
 
My status changed from "Level III" to "under review"

Level III means you "could be" invited for an interview.
 
Mine also has changed from "level III" to "under review". However, the date for last updated still says Oct 10, 2006. Have you guys updated your transcripts through AADSAS? I was already accepted to my 2 top schools, so I have not continued to update my AADSAS application. Is it necessary to do so in order to be considered?

Hmm- I'm not sure. I guess call them and ask if they have your correct email address because I believe they inform you about an interview via email.
 
i just got word from USC....they said ignore the level 3 status....it was a glitch in their system. they said i'm on hold until they can't find anyone else better so i guess that means i'm back to nowhere now. got my hopes all high.🙁
 
My status seems to be regressing. I went from "under review" to "unreviewed" to now "no status." What does it all mean and why are they toying with my emotions?

Ugh. Well don't give up. It's not a rejection and they interview through April.

What does your status say now? Is it still "Level III?"
 
Wow! Now my status changed from Level III to "under review". So I guess that's a sign that the adcoms are finally going to review my freaking application!

On the other hand, they have my phone number wrong. I tried to change it with the submit button feature, but it won't allow me to change my phone number.

They had mine wrong too - I called to make sure they had the correct phone number and they did.
 
Did everyone on this thread get one of those letters on the mail saying that they are in the final critical review period? I got mine in early October - just wondering if and when anyone else got the same thing.

Yea I got that letter in Oct or Nov as well.
