anyone on SDN board that interviewed post their "critical letter" date they received it with their interview date? that'll be a lot of help to us

I interviewed in oct...received the critical letter in nov...waitlisted (level IV status) in dec...received acceptance email/letter Jan 26.

BTW...I read somewhere that people listed the deposit for USC as $3000. It's not. It's only $500

Mine says under review and I had my interview back in November, but I never got the critical review letter.. is that bad????

I received a letter in the mail with a form that I had to fill out and send back to state I was still interested about 1 week after my interview.
I see you got accepted to loma linda. Its a very good school...USC has too much pbl for me...but it is in cali

...And as for where I'm going...I haven't the foggiest yet...too many factors to weigh/consider

Everyone is ranked and they accept you from their list based on your ranking.
Once you interview at USC, they mail a letter indicating that you have been ranked and they ask you to sign and return the sheet to let them know that you are still interested.

Just be patient, I am sure they will send another round of acceptances and interviews on the second week of January.

As long as you are "Alternate" it should be fine! After you were interviewed, you should have received a blue sheet to sign and return to USC. However, your status says "Alternate" so I assume it is fine because everyone who signed and returned the blue sheet was put on alternate list and then from that list students are getting accepted!
