USC vs. UT Houston

Hello,
I really need help deciding between USC and UT Houston. I am TX resident.
I am not sure but I think going to USC is around 3 times more expensive than Texas school. Does it matter that USC have better reputation? Is it worth the money? What are your thoughts on PBL learning style, job opportunities after, and chances of specializing ?
P/S: I would really love to move to LA, such an exciting place!!

How does USC dental have a better reputation?

Don't assume undergraduate reputations are a reliable way to judge schools.

I personally rejected Houston, but they have great facilities and great faculty. They're really relaxed as a school and definitely train you well.

If I had the decision you do it would be simple.

Is moving to LA worth the extra cost? If it is your choice is clear, if you don't think it's worth the extra hundreds of thousands then stay in Texas.

Don't even think about it and just go to Houston... Houston is like 250K cheaper. Man I wish I was a Texan

Thank you guys so much!! I really like Houston school and decided to go there but the acceptance email from USC came so unexpected today. Both are great schools so I felt bit overwhelmed 😍

Unless you become 3 dentists when you graduate USC, go to Houston you loon! Not worth 3x the price.

Basically every OOS pre-dent wishes they were Texan. Consider yourself lucky.

Is this a real question??? Maybe if USC were Harvard it would be worth it, but USC is just an overpriced mediocre dental school.
