So does anyone know what % of their total interviews they've given out so far?

and when the majority of their seats fill up?

ALSO, what % of their interviews are given after & post december?

I don't have all the exact answers but I can give you what I know. USC is notorious for filling their class late in the cycle. From the school's website: "Generally, the class is assembled on the following cycle: December 1 – one quarter; March - one quarter, mid-April - one quarter, end of May - one quarter." (http://uscsd03.usc.edu/dental/admissions/applicant.htm?button=Click+Here+for+More+Information)

I do know from following theses boards for many cycles that there are abundance of students who interview well after Dec, Jan, Feb who are ultimately accepted.

Word on the street however is this year they are holding more pre-Dec 1st interviews which may skew things a bit this cycle and fill the class up a tad earlier than in the past.

Last year there was 550 interviews, 144 seats. I'm assuming they accepted around 200 something to fill those.

This year they are interviewing over 600.

Thx a lot guys

Hysteria24, I had an interview on early October and I want to know about my chances for USC! Does it mean they accept 50% of interviewees or do u think many admitted students withdraw later because they get admission from other places! Can u tell me what my chances are for USC? Thanks.

Stats they gave us on the first day of orientation for our incoming class this year:

3,151 applicants
675 interviewed
144 class size

I would agree with your statement that I bolded above. Although it is just my guess, I believe the uniqueness of USC scares away some accepted applicants who eventually turn to more traditional programs for comfort.
