Ok, I have a problem I can't figure out.
Buffalo says, "If an applicant is retaking the MCATs in August, the Committee will await receipt of these scores before reviewing the application, unless you advise us differently."

I had a 27 on the MCAT previously, but I just took the August MCAT and I had been getting 30-34 on all the practice tests. I had a tough time with one section this time around but I never was able to gauge what type of score I would get so I might have a 27 again at worst, which I doubt. So I wondered what I should do? Should I let my application stay on hold for another few months until the August scores come in or should I ask them to review it with the old 27? I had previously thought that they at least look at your application and put it on a different pile awaiting August scores but it seems like I won't even be looked at until the end of October. Should I go with the 27? WHADDYA THINK?? 😕 😕

If you weren't going to wait for the scores, why did you retake in August?

Wait for the scores!

Superso-I'm in the same situation as you are, I had a 28 before and schools like creighton and UPenn (among many others) do not want to review my application unless I tell them to do so right now (with my 28). Before I took the MCAT I was sure I was going to do well, but after taking it I think I blew it. I might get as low as a 24, if my predictions are right.

I really don't know what to do, I feel that if I tell them to review my application with my current score they will know that I did bad on the August MCAT.

I really don't know what to do, one things is for sure.... I am in complete denial at this point. I am probably going to wait for a miracle and see what happens in october.

I do have two interviews already which makes things a lot easier...

You probably did lot better than you think on your August MCAT. Stop worrying and go get drunk 👍

if you're a ny resident, i think the april 27 should not hinder your appl. depends on how you feel about other parts of your appl.
