Use of Marker & Laminated sheet for PAT part

Can anyone who have just taken the exam let us know ,is it allowed to use marker and laminate to draw choices for PAT part.I know we can do calculations but what about the whole PAT part.What is allowed and what is not????

I took the exam today and you are given the laminated sheets and markers at the very beginning of the exam and you are allowed to use them for whatever you need...

For those that have taken the DAT, I am interested in going to an office supply store to pick up some pens / sheets to practice using more frequently. Was it something like this?

Pen (though I know everyone says the tip is pretty wide)

For the sheet I have no clue what it is....I imagine from the descriptions people have been saying it's just a white piece of paper laminated...like a ghetto white erase board?
