Use of the MMPI-2-RF in Veterans Affairs Clinic Settings

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
At least in non-VA samples, the "cry for help" profile is not really supported by the literature, especially at very high values. Especially in Fp-r, it's just invalid in al most all situations at a certain point.
100%.

lots of reasons things can be invalid, it just means invalid- not motive

Then, explain the discrepancy of rates of invalidity between clinical settings and compensation seeking settings.
I don't want anyone mistake my position on compensation seeking/disability. What you are speaking to (pop differences) still doesn't mean validity scales should infer motive without outside evidence. For instance, severe pathology elevates, which occurs more frequently even in those with legit injury. And the cry for help is junk.
