Useful electives

What electives should I do my first year of cards fellowship? Should I do more echo or cath or maybe advanced imaging? What have you guys found educational and helpful but still "elective" like schedule?

I wouldn't consider more echo or cath to be good "elective" choices since you'll be doing plenty of these in the course of things anyway. See if you can hang out with the surgeons for awhile. Spending time in the OR and SICU gives you a good perspective that otherwise is difficult to develop.
