I wanted to make a thread about useful science courses or non-science courses that students could take to build skills and knowledge.

Here is my list (no specific order)

- Spanish
- Biochemistry
- Immunology
- Human embryology (or whatever your college calls it)
- Economics
- English (a basic writing course)
- Speech
- others?

Classes that are ok to take, but they don't go nearly as in depth as one would really want:

- A&P
- Pathology
- Cell and molecular biology
- Cancer biology
- Medical microbiology

1) neurobiology
2) Genetics
3) nutrition

Other than that I think you pretty much covered all the bases.

very important to take a social science course or two (your school probably will expect you to do so for general ed. requirements)

Psychology should be at the top of that list

Genetics
BioChem
Cell and Tissue Bio
Physiology

Then, Speech communications, literature, ethics, writing course of some kind, underwater basket weaving, bowling, racketball, etc.;)

considering you take physio, biochem, and micro first year of med school. I'll have to go with those in that particular order...
