USF Open Spots?

I recall reading a post recently- although I can't find it now- that mentioned USF being approved for additional spots. If this is in fact true, does anyone know if they will be opening them in the match or outside of the match? Any additional information would be great. Thanks!

We have been approved to increase from 6 to 9. The ultimate goal is 12. Spots will be filled through the match. While i do not know this for sure, I suspect we will take 3 in this year's match.
