I interviewed there and liked the city but I am not so sure about their anesthesia program. What are the opinions regarding USF-Tampa?

I would do a search and look at reviews on scutwork.com etc. if you have not already. There is a lot of negative stuff out there about this program. I don't know first hand anything but it all points in the wrong direction. I was advised by someone seasoned in academic anesthesia not to interview at this program. As a said however, this is all hearsay from me. I do think that as a city Tampa could be very nice though if you had any time to enjoy it.

My program chair said it was a pretty decent program, he had nothing bad to say about it. My school in fact hired a new cardiac anesthesiologist that just finished his fellowship there.
