Hey, I couldn't find this post anywhere else, but forgive me if it already exists.

I just found a research position that I would really like to apply to, but the application date is really soon. I have my cover letter and resume ready, but I need 2 lors. I already have 2 LORs submitted to my credential service provider at school (they gather all your letters and send them out for you and keep them on record for 10 years--useful for if I reapply to med school later) One of the 2 LOR's is out of town for the week (we're on spring break) and I haven't been able to get in touch with the other...

So my question is--would it be really unacceptable to use the medical school letters that these two professors wrote (would be very good letters) as LORs for this internship???

Well if the letter says something like "I recommend X for medical school" then it kind of won't work.
