Hey everyone,

Sorry if this post repeats some info that is already out there. I have the Kaplan Classroom Review notes and I've read the Bio section really thoroughly and supplemented it with their flash cards and online practice questions. I purchased Cliffs AP Bio because I've heard its great too.

Would you guys suggest reading this thoroughly and taking notes or just reading it through to get another perspective? I've heard the Bio section is tricky so I want to be prepared!
Thanks

If time is on your side then I highly recommend a thorough read. It shouldn't take you more than 4-5 days.

great book to have. I used it and got 20+ on the real thing. I would recommend it!😀

I purchased this book today based on the recommendations in this forum. I hope it's good. 🙂

I use the AP Cliffs alongside the Destroyer. I find it useful for a quick reference when something is confusing. Very concise and direct.

I agree also. Cliff's AP Bio did a good job, especially with the ecology and plant section. The only downfall is its lack of physiology material. I thought Cliff's along with class notes in Cell, Immunology, and General Bio were sufficient. Also it doesn't hurt to use wikopedia and keep clicking new concepts that might appear in your original search. I learned a lot just by using this method. I ended up getting a 22 on the real thing.

The bio section is tricky because they ask questions that you may not have seen before. The only way to answer these questions is to use logic and apply concepts in biology you know to be similar to the one in the question at hand. Knowing a lot of facts is important but learning how to use what you know to answer the unknown is something completely different.

what he said. Expect to answer all those "random" questions the way he said.
