So, the only school I have an acceptance from at the moment is the ONLY school i paid the secondary fees for. Everywhere else, I had a fee waiver and I'm sitting on 8 waitlists. Coincidence or not? 😱

A bit statistically improbable, yes. Did it hurt you? Most likely not. Honestly, most schools enjoy the extra diversity that folks from economically disadvantaged backgrounds bring to a class. I think you just got a bit of the superbowl coin toss luck.

Unlikely. I'm in the opposite situation: one school at which I got a fee waiver and interviewed was the only one that accepted me. The remaining ones at which I interviewed, and for which I paid the secondary application fee, waitlisted me.

coincidence for sure. i had fee waivers everywhere. i pretty much got in where i expected i would.

I think the answer is "no." Your situation sounds more like a coincidence rather than a cause and effect.

Hi
How do you apply for the fee waiver for the DAT and the AASDAS application please?
what steps do you take for the fee waiver application?
Thanks

It means absolutely nothing, pure coincidence. I used the FAP for all of my applications, and I wasn't hurt in the least by it.

In fact, schools don't even know, just the AMCAS people do.

Wait a minute, there's fee waivers for secondaries as well?
