Not at my med school. First Aid left me wondering why we learned so many lumps and bumps and tracts and brain stem levels and whatever else we learned.
It may work for smarter people, but I found that I didn't learn enough from First Aid to make it worth my time. It's definitely more of a review tool. If you really want to study beforehand, you may want to find a copy of Neuroanatomy Through Clinical Cases, which is thorough enough to learn the material on your own.
An excellent overview of Neuro (but probably not detailed enough for regular exams, though it'll be good for the final) is "Neuro anatomy Made Ridiculously Simple."
