I'm beginning to realize that "Pocket Medicine" is a very condensed version of First Aid with clinical correlations. I'm getting many questions right on UWorld based on identifying clinical clues from the stem (like age, sex, presentation) based on what I read from Pocket Medicine.
My question is: is it good to continue using Pocket Medicine to supplement First Aid for Step 1 or is it a waste of time that could potentially lead me astray during the actual exam (when/if the clinical stems don't match the classic presentation)?
Thanks again peeps!
