using premed committee's Lors...

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Would this letter be the heatlh professions committee? If so, that is absolutely a letter you should use. It often takes the place of the 3 other letters school require. Hope this helps.

If by pre-med you mean pre-professional committee than I recommend it. Most dental schools prefer you get the committee letter if your undergrad institution offers it. One committee letter also fulfills the LOR req at most schools.

You can have the letter sent directly to the schools or through AADSAS.

woah woah woah!

clarify! Are you saying you were a premed and got letters of recs and a committee letter already done and now want to do dentistry? Cause if so...no way should you use that committee letter. If it talks about you as wanting to be a med student, not a dent, you would be a fool to send that to the dental schools.

However, if you are talking about getting a committee letter about how you want to be a dental student from a prehealth committee and haven't gone through the process yet, then yes, you should go for it.

thanks a lot.
It was great help.

Shooting off form their question would it be okay to get from the pre-health professions committe at a school where you did your post bacc @?
