So ive read on here several times to start doing board questions early but right now im a bit concerned about what to do about subjects that that havnt been covered yet. So far ive just been doing questions from my review books from present and past systems covered. I would like to get the Kaplan Qbook now and probably purchase USMLEWorld closer to boards but im not sure really if i should quite yet.
If i do what exactly do you do with completely unfamiliar questions from systems and topics that havnt been covered? Do you skip them, do them anyways and start reading up on them?

I'm not really sure about Kaplan Qbank, but I used UWorld in tutor mode. It's tough trying to answer questions correctly on material that you haven't covered in classes as yet. But I found that even though I got many wrong, I went over the answers thoroughly and if I came across an explanation that I didn't fully understand I looked it up in Goljan RR Path/First Aid.

It helps to start exposing yourself to as much different material as possible, so that the next time you see it it isn't as new and therefore not as difficult to comprehend/remember.

Hope this helps...just my 2 cents!
