Has anyone ever tried that?I finish all the U world questions on fro 2CK 2 and I plan to go through them eventually but between now and April when I'm scheduled to take my exam I wonder if it would make any sense to run through step 3 Usmle world. Please just tell me what you think don't tell me how stupid I am
USING step 3 questions to study for CK.

It may not be a bad idea but i think you would be better served either going through UW again or using another step 2 question bank.

It's a hard call because nobody really ever does this.
You can always find more Step 2 questions online or in print such as:

NBME Self-assessment test (more for score prediction)
You can also repeat UWorld.

I think you should continue to go over UW or Kaplan questions and read kaplan CK notes, if you really want to spend that much time studying. If you know the material to the point that you aren't benefiting from this, then you are ready to take the test now and score 260+ so you shouldn't wait until April. I don't think studying Step 3 questions, which I assume have a different focus, will be the highest yield study material.
