For those who have take the DAT, how important was the white board to you? Obviously on QR I know I'll use it but CDP has a lot of great tips for helping on the PAT section. Here's my issue.... Paid and scheduled to take the exam and get an email a week later saying "we are in the process of renovating so our markers are not erasable. Therefore if you run out of room you will raise your hand and we can bring another white board to you." That is way too time consuming to me and I am considering trying to get it rescheduled to another testing site. Any thoughts?

It sounds similar to what I was told when I took the DAT. You get two boards to write on. For me they were front and back 8 by 11 sheet of laminated paper and the pens they provided were erasable. I just wasn't provided an eraser. When there was a break I just asked for a new fresh board. I never ran out of room completely and unless you write really big, I doubt you will either.

Thanks for the info. I don't know what I was expecting. I just kept visualizing me constantly raising my hand lol. I feel better about it now
