USMLE 2 with only COMLEX 1?

I'm just curious if anyone knows whether or not it is possible to take USMLE step 2 with passing COMLEX 1, but not having taken the USMLE 1. I had heard a rumor... 😀

Steps 1 & 2 can be taken in any order. You have to pass both to take Step 3. COMPLEX is a completely different system... they have nothing to do w/ eachother.

So yes, you can take Step 2 w/o Step 1.

I recently took the USMLEII. I did not take the USMLEI.
Any day now I should find out how it went.
