Step I usmle i schedululing/prometric

two questions,

i plan to take the test in July. I went to prometric's website today and wanted to select test site A, which is closest to me. However, there were no dates available in June/July/August. However, test site B (twice as far) has nearly every day in July. Does this mean test site A doesn't administer Step I or should I give prometric a call? Second, once a schedule a test date, can I change dates/centers w/o penalty as long as it's w/in 5 days? thanks.

I'd give prometric a call. Their website is buggy as hell -- it must have taken me a couple of hours and three different browsers to get my test scheduled.

it was the same way for me.

The test center I knew how to get to had like 3 days open for step 1 exams in my month, but the one further away was available every day of the week.

I dont know why, its just the way it was
