Can anyone tell me if the molecular bio ?'s on the usmle are similar to the ones on qbank bc i don't know a damn thing about DNA and do not plan on learning much more than first aid for this test.

HY cell and molecular biology...easy read and nice summary

Hi

Know clinically important molec biology
- stuff like PCR, blots etc.
- important molecular basis of disease: cystic fibrosis, CML etc.

That should give you enough for step 1.
