am a final yr mbbs student in india.. i wud lik to giv usmle test.. cud sm1 please help me wid a li'l guidance as to xactly hw much of hard work's required to clear thru wid a gud score lik smthing abov 95?? i mean hw much of tim's required to prepar? n als wat al buks to follow or read thru b4 attemptin d xam? am a lil confused abt managin my course n d test n 'v to decid wen i wud b ready to giv d test!! please do help..

After some English classes, buy the Kaplan Q-bank, and when you can consistently score 75% or above, take the test (assuming you want a score around 95).

And sorry i might sound silly😳 but how many hours a day am i supposed to read??? pl do help me through🙂 waitin....

First, there is a USMLE board where your question is likely more appropriate. Second, we write out full words on this site. I have no clue what you are saying with your unconventional IM-speak. You cannot be in such a rush that you have to abbreviate words as short as "be"...

Hi Kutus,

well, first it would be good to know for what particular part of the USMLE you want information, i.e. which Step do you want to take first?
Then I would strongly suggest to take a look at the Step1 2007 Experience Thread and maybe the 2007 Score Thread, there is also an older Step1 2006 Experience Thread, just use the search function. There you can find out what material students used etc..

People seem to be pretty helpful here, but nevertheless I would suggest showing some initiative first and take some time to work through this forum...after that it is more likely you got some more specific questions which will be answered by other forum members.
