Alright, so took this test yesterday, 9/12.

Any idea when I can expect my scores, given all this change and the delays for the August score release?

What did you all think of the test?

My shortest block was 41, longest was 46. I actually thought the 41 block would be easy because it was shorter lenght (I know, what was I thinking, right?), but I ended up barely finishing within the time limit.

I thought this test was pretty damn hard. I went through UWorld twice, read through Step Up 1.5 times, and looked at Secrets a week before the test.

I felt the vignettes, in general, were more lengthy than UWorld, and were a bit more vague. With a lot of 2nd or 3rd level questions involved on Step2 that you'd expect, I had a hard time with a handful of questions on even nailing down what the disease/problem even was, to start thinking about answering what question was asking.

I just pray they go a little more lenient on us with their equation, algorithm, etc.

I'm still kicking myself in the rear for recalling a handful of 'easy' questions (or so the ones I knew for sure anyway, just had a mental block) that I missed. :bang:

Dude/Dudette, I took mine two days ago and your experience mirrors mine. I feel so depressed right now that I cant even get myself up to cut my hair. There is a handful of easy questions I got wrong as well, questions I knew quite well while on rotation and for some stupid reasons I got them wrong on the real exam.

Is there a way to void the exam after the fact?

BTW, my longest was 45 and the last block was only 28 ( Not sure why). The last block though TBH felt like UWorld.

There's really no way to void the exam, not to my knowledge anyway. It's not like the MCAT, where you get that option.

Yeah, I try not to think about it too much honestly. It's very easy to think of the questions you've missed or think you've missed, than all the ones you got right or didn't have trouble with.

I'm just curious when the scores will be released for those of us that took it in Sept.

You're not alone - it was a horrible exam for me too. I took it on Aug 22nd and am STILL waiting for my score. It will be released on Sept 26th. I've been so damn depressed every day I can barely function. If we've made it this far in medical school and this will be our final exam to be released, WHY are they making it so difficult? What can be done with our education if we fail?

Yeah, I'm wanting to go into radiology. I need to do well on this test (to help compensate for my disappointing step1 score), so simply not doing well on this test doesn't get me anywhere either because i need to send these scores out to the programs too, rather than just leave them be and not submit them.

Sept 26th is for people that took it even in Sept?

If it's at least 3 weeks from your test date it's a possibility.
