USMLE Step 1, Biochem Map?

Hi. Anyone know of a commercial or web-based biochem map that I could basically memorize to be in good shape for the USMLE step 1? I can only seem to find either piecemeal charts or else way too comprehensive ones.

Do people use those things to study? If you don't have time for comprehensive review (or you don't want to bother) there are brief reviews... like Deja Review (don't like the series but this particular book isn't bad and is rated very highly by FA). Or just memorize the biochem in FA. Memorizing a huge chart would be a waste of time.

If you just want one for a frame of reference when thinking about biochemical pathways, go for it, but it won't be a great study resource and it certainly won't mean you'll be in good shape for the test. Good luck!

Wait you guys didn't memorize this chart? What kind of doctors are you guys going to be?!?!?! Failures.....

So from what I've heard, know enzymes ONLY if they are associated with a disease (glucocerebrosidase in Gauchers) OR if they are the rate limiting enzyme of a reaction (CPT-1 in FA synthesis or HMG-CoA reductase in cholesterol synthesis), etc etc etc.

Otherwise...who cares?

lol im already done with basic sciences bro. just that this MONSTER freaked me out cos its nowhere even close to what we should be doing for steps
