I'm 3 mts into my 3rd year and i would like to use the same books to study for Step 2 as I am for my rotations. This is my plan:
1. Kaplan Notes 08-09
2. First Aid 5th Edition
3. Qbook/Pretest during rotations
4. U World when i start officially studying for the boards.
I am trying to get as high a score as possible. I am an IMG trying to get surgery. Got a 238 on Step 1, looking for a higher score on Step 2. Is this material everything I need to know? Should I get a newer Edition? Is this a good timeline for my practice q's? Also, I'm aware of the difficulty in obtaining categorical match for surgery as an img. Does anyone know where i can find a list of hospitals where i would be ranked (if possible I'd like to stay in MI)?
