I had an error on my test and I was wondering how many of you had the same experience.
I won't put the stem of the question for fear of my life from NBME but the answer choices were mistyped. It was the common "increased, decreased, normal" scenario with the following categories:
Inorganic Parathyroid; Phosphate Hormone; and Calcitriol

Yes, that's right-they meant Parathyroid Hormone, etc but mistyped it. The question was unanswerable with those choices. Of course I have written NBME but heard nothing from them yet.

Anybody have the same question?

Well, I had the same question today....so we'll see what happens. Ever hear back from the NBME, before I pop them an email?

Funny thing was, the first thing I saw was "Phosphate Hormone" and all I could think was "crap! ANOTHER hormone I don't know!" What a relief it was when I saw the Inorganic Parathyroid on there.
