USMLE transcript on ADTS

A quick question for those of you who submitted your CAF:

Would your USMLE transcript show up on the ADTS? Or is it automatically transmitted along with your application.

I just submitted my CAF and applied to programs, and on ADTS, it has my PS, my CAF and my profile only. Dunno if the transcript should show up also.

Are you sure that you submitted your USMLE transcript through the app? You have to fill out that USMLE form telling them to submit your USMLE on the main application page before it is submitted.

Are you referring to the page with 2 questions? I answer yes to the first question, but no to the 2nd question regarding retransmission, and I assigned my transcript to every program I am applying to.

REALLY weird...

And the USMLE ID is the 8 digit number on the USMLE report that we got right?

I put it in without the dashes, which I thought is correct because it wont let me put in the dashes.

Hmm, well I answered yes to both questions, but based on what I read of the second question, that didn't seem like a question that would hold up your transmission. Is your USMLE transcript listed in your documents file? Are you sure that you saved it? Also, did you check the post office to see if it had been transmitted (should be a page that looks like what I posted in my previous post). I think that you have the right USMLE number, but I can't find my score report right now to double check. The other option would be of course to e-mail or call the ERAS people to see what happened to your USMLE score.

For some reason, the only 3 things that are listed on my ADTS:

CAF, PS and Personal Profile

I submitted my CAF, and applied to all my programs, with the box USMLE transcript "send" box checked (now the box for all my program became irreversibly checked). I double checked my NBME code and it is saved. For some reason the USMLE transcript is still not listed on ADTS.

Same with my LoR's... My dean's office told me that they already scanned my LoRs 1, 3, 4 and 5 already, but none have appeared.

My hypothesis is that NBME's automatic forwarding system, like the dean's office, doesn't work during weekends. I will check again tomorrow and hopefully those will go in place.

I also was just thinking, do you remember if you authorized the USMLE people to release your scores during second year? I remember that they gave us an option to not release your scores before you had a chance to review them. That could be responsible for the hold up too. My usmle was transmitted as soon as I submitted, I assumed that it was automatic.

ok problem fixed.

The problem is with the dean's office. Apparently, according to the dean's secretary the office are the one that scans your USMLE transcript in, and if it is already scanned in before your application is submitted, it is going to show up the minute you submit. She just happened to have not scanned my stuff before I submit.😱

ckent, is medical school transcript listed here or elsewhere?

I haven't submitted my transcript. I will probably do so today or tomorrow. At my school, we have to order an official transcript from our office of student records and walk it over to the office of student affairs for them to scan in.

Really? I called my dean's office today about the transcript and they said ours don't go out until the dean's letter does, on November 1. Does anyone else have transcripts already available to programs?

My transcript is on ADTS.

It really all depends on your school and how they handle business. Go with your school's system.

walk it over huh? i wonder if they would let me open a kinkos between those two buildings...

yeah, I was also told that transcripts are sent by our school WITH the Dean's letter....and from what I understand, most programs don't really look at the transcripts UNTIL the Dean's letter.

It makes sense though, doesn't it....most programs put emphasis on USMLEs, LORs, and PS info before they look at your detailed transcript.
