a 85 two digit score is equivalent to what three digit score?

I called about anesthesiology residency and they said they want at least 85. What is the three digit equivalent? Thanks!!!!!!

What is this? 1999? I can't believe they'd even tell you a minimum two-digit score, considering it's not even reported to residencies anymore.

That sounds like 99 range to me

It used to be 99 or at least very close (was when I took it) but NBME adjusted the 2-digit scoring system in 2011 and I can't find a conversion chart on their site like there used to be.

Lol, K31, 12thMan's just joking.

they recently changed how the 2 day score is calculated. now upper 240's is higher 80s. Don't worry about your residency seeing this as they are not reported.

I'm glad the old school fruitcake programs who only used 2 digits will be completely out of their element this year when they have to deal with real scores
