Could you please share your thoughts about the relative difficulties of these two exams?
I will be going to medical school in China soon and I'm thinking about practicing medicine in the US or Australia afterwards (no definite plans yet, though). I was wondering which exam is more challenging, in terms of the actual difficulty of the test itself and the difficulty of getting a residency match if I pass it. As I'm going to study MBBS in China I will probably have to do most of the preparation for USMLE/AMC licensing exam myself so I'd like to get some idea about what I will be up against. I'm not sure what specialty I'm going to do, but I'm interested in ophthalmology, internal medicine and family practice now.
