I have 3 months before the USMLE and was planning on buying USMLEworld to start preparing. Looking through several study strategies I've noticed several say use USMLEworld and do 150 questions a day timed to get used to the pace of the exam. On USMLEworld's website they say its a 2000 test question bank. So if I do 150q's a day I would be done with the entire thing in 14 days. Am I missing something here? Do I have to buy usmlerx and kaplan to sustain me with enough questions at this pace? Also, what are your plans for using Qbanks?

yes. don't do 150 questions a day. Do about 24-48 and make sure you take the time to learn everything from it. Most people spend ~3 hours with 48 questions. I would do 150 questions sometimes, like on weekends or something but it's not necessary to be hitting 150 questions a day, everyday.

i took a month's subscription starting febrary 15th. i tried doing 96 questions a day and realized that it take quiet a few hours (7hrs for me) just doing questions. i have still not planned my exam. i will suggest you to do some reading before you subscribe for UW. it might just be ok if you go for a 2 month subscription. i think personally 1 month of UW with studies is too cramped up. when i schedule my exam i will take 2 months subscription.
