Hi, I just wanted to know for those of you who have used USMLERx and have either taken the Step already or just have an opinion (or possibly know someone who has taken the step and done USMLERx) about how are USMLERx question difficulty level compared to the actual exam questions difficulty level? Thank you for your help!🙂

Hi, I didn't get any response back last time for my post🙁...but I have been doing USMLE Rx (almost done with it) and I have 67% (it is predicting my score to be 223)...I want to know, how accurate is that in your opinion? Is it over/under estimating?

I know some of you will suggest doing NBME (which I will)...but I just want to know how accurate is USMLERx prediction in your opinion/experience!

not very predictable, if i remember correctly there is a +/- 20points confidence interval, the questions themselves are good though

That is correct. They say this everytime they give you their predicted score for you.
I do agree that the questions (and explanations linked to first aid) are pretty good.

As far as I'm aware, NBMEs are the most accurate predictors of your real scores.

would it still be worth using prior to uworld if time permits? or kaplan?

I'd like to know the same thing. I'm doing DIT and they only recommend Kaplan and UWorld question banks. Why not use rx first? Since the answer explanations actually show pages of FA, it seems like an awesome way to solidify the random pages of FA I'm reading everyday. I feel like I could just do rx questions over the pages I've read, instead of re-reading.
