Im thinking about subscribing to it for step 1. Does it come with the option to pick questions that are only related to one main chapter in pathology for example (like cell death let's say).

You should try the early chapters in Robbin's Review of Pathology if you want a boost in that area. They nail quite a few of the apoptosis/necrosis regulators, genes, etc.

As far as I'm aware, Rx allows you to choose up to 25 different subject areas, but they aren't that specific.

Yeah I had originally thought it would be like that, but unfortunately its not. One of my biggest qualms with Rx is that their tagging of questions isnt very well done.

For example, its advertised as a complementary study material for First Aid, and while it definitely helps its hard to actually do a section and then do the questions.

What I mean is, if for example you just finished the reproductive chapter in First Aid, the questions in Rx won't only be about material in that chapter. Which is good to really tie everything together, but its also pretty depressing when it comes to scores. Whats worse is when they ask about something that isnt even in FA and you just look at them weirdly.

I also think their questions are a bit more convoluted than UWorld, but its still a helpful study tool

Is there a resources that matches perfectly what you have just studied on FA i.e. chapter by chapter? Is Rx or Q&A book the closest to this requirement?

I'd say Kaplan QBook does that.

People's study methods differ. I've always felt that random questions are better than topic-specific ones, so I never had an issue with Rx. I hope you do end up liking the QBank though. I found it spectacular.

Sorry for stealing thread here... but I have a relevant Q.

I'm trying to do some general Qs on immunology but I'm having a hard time selecting "immuno" without the system also selecting "all organ systems." Is there any way to get general questions (like more basic science like and not path/organ related). Is there any way to get just "basic immuno" questions??
