Hey

I'm in 2nd Med (of 5) in UCD and I want to take the USMLEs at some point. I was just wondering when people think is the best time? I am thinking I need to wait until after we have finished pathology (1st semester next year) but we go into clinical second semester so would this summer or next summer be the usual time to take it?

Most take it after third year... sometime in the summer. If you go earlier in the summer (June), you'll still leave time for electives or whatever else you feel like doing. I know I don't want to eat up my entire summer studying.
