Has anyone tried using usmleworld step2ck questions to study for the shelf exams? I adhered to what was most recommended to study for my neurology shelf exam (my first one) and found the content of pre-test neurology was high-yield for the shelf, but the style of questions were NOTHING like the actual nbme shelf exam. Since usmleworld is supposedly the better resource for step2ck, one could ostensibly conclude that this question bank would be an ideal--albeit expensive--resource.
I am also using mksap3 for students for my upcoming internal medicine rotation but found that there aren't really that many questions.

questions, comments, or concerns, anyone?

shelf exams test way more detail than what usmleworld has, plus i think it's pretty expensive to have a 12 month subscription 🙂

"albeit", "ostensibly", do you use not so common conversational words like that when presenting pts during rounds? 😀
