USN Cover Letter?

I've tried calling USN a couple of times now but can't seem to get anybody on the line. Does anybody know if for the cover letter they are just looking for contact information, or if they are looking for a full on cover letter like this?

Hmm, I just wrote a "brief" cover letter stating why USN. I figured they already have all our "resume" credentials, so whats the point of restating 'em. TBH, I have no clue😱

Quick question for anybody who cares to respond. I am done with my cover letter, but before I print it off I want to ask how you guys would address the letter.

I have a default of "Dear Sir or Madam" on it now, but am thinking maybe a "Dear Admissions Committee" would be more appropriate. What do you think?

I emailed USN asking about what to include in their cover letter last month. They said it is strictly supposed to have the contact information they ask for on their website and nothing else. It's not like a cover letter you use to apply for a job.

yeah i kinda sent one with JUST my contact info. some other school i applied to also asked for a "cover letter" with just contact info (except they clearly said that that's all they wanted) so i assumed it was the same thing.

Well crap. I just printed out my little cover letter, and sealed it in the envelope. Guess I just waisted a 44 cent stamp.

Writing a professional cover letter will never hurt when applying for a job or a professional school.

Yea, I already sent a formal cover letter and they sent me an application complete email with no flak. Worst they can do is not read it.

Try to peel off the stamp or just cut it out and glue it onto another envelope! Maybe I'm just a cheapo but that's what I would do 😀
