Has anyone been invited for an interview at USN (in Utah) or being accepted? Are they even having interviews? The last I knew was that they were starting interviewing in Sept.

I interview there next friday 12/10, I can give a better insight to how long until there first acceptance etc. I am from Utah, and the school looks really nice.

Hey let me know how you like it. They called me Dec. 1 for an interview on Dec. 10, but I have my last final that day, so I scheduled for the 17th. However, I already got accepted fortunately, so I'm wondering if it will even be worth it to go there. If you could let me know that would be awesome! Thanks!

USN college of dental medicine is in Salt Lake city not Las Vegas right?

If it helps you any the building still isn't built yet, they published in the local newspaper that the first class will begin using another building. From the quote I'm not sure if I should interpret this to mean that the classes being alongside pharmacy and nursing students means they share the same classroom/classes or if there are actually separate classrooms for the dental students to take their classes. I've heard of dental students having the same class as medical students but I had never heard of students sharing classes with nursing students or pharmacy students. Here's the quote from the newspaper published Dec 3, 2010, Deseret News:

"Exterior construction is almost done on the school's $23 million, 125,000-square-foot, five-story building in the RiverPark Corporate Center, 10920 S. River Front Parkway (900 West). Sandoval said the school plans to move into the building a year from now. Until then, students will take classes alongside pharmacy and nursing students in USN's current facility."

I've met with some of the staff and their expectations are high and they are optimistic things will work out. I guess we'll have to see, I keep getting the vibe that things are being pushed back a lot more than they had originally anticipated. I guess the positive is that they will be having the first class start next year regardless of whether there is actually a school, the negative is that it appears to be struggling more than other start up schools like new MW-Ill or the new North Carolina one to get it going.

I can see classes along side the pharmacy students... but not the nursing students. It would either be A) really hard for the Nursing students, or B) remedial for the Dental students. Likelihood is that the same classrooms will be shared, not the same classes.
