Hi! I'm thinking about applying to USN (I just got my PCAT scores back which were horrible). There is only one problem. I'm from Minnesota and am wondering what the odds are of me seeing a tarantula or snake in my three years in Nevada (if I were accepted)??? I have a HUGE phobia.

I see them all the time. Once I saw snakes take over a plane and Samuel L. Jackson had to save us all.

actually, i havent seen either creatures in vegas yet. Although there are flying cockroaches.😱

There is a chance that you will run into the elusive trouser snake!

the only time i saw that kinda snake when i was at a restaurant...and the snake was right on my table...smoking! yummy!

someone pleeeeease post up a picture of a tarantula/snake. :hardy:

Why not the USN campus in Utah? No tarantulas there... Snakes are much less common in that part of Utah as well. I guess you can't hop on over to Vegas anytime you like, but hey, it's an option if you're that paranoid 'bout it.

Enough is enough! I have had it with these *#@! vegas snakes on this *#@! vegas plane!

Hahaha! Okay, this is hilarious. But, there is NOTHING funny about spiders/snakes/scorpions in your shoes. Seriously.

Funny I was just watching TV and this show (on Discovery I think) was about a brown recluse spider biting someone and they were showing these giant regions of dead flesh. It was the nasty. :barf:

I think this is why I'm in pharmacy school, hahah.
