I was told that after OIS ends July 19 we have to check-in to USUHS right away or they start to subtract our vacation time. If this is true then what do we do for three weeks before classes start??

Where did you hear this information? All I know is after OIS the only think is the Aug 12 week of military in-processing where I know it's mandatory and necessary for you to be at USUHS. But anyway congrats on the USUHS matriculation and hope to see you there at OIS.

Mike Habiena-the guy in charge of the military aspect of the school-told me this bit of info. Since we only get 30 days of a year he said if we didn't check right in they would start to subtract from our thirty days. Plus, if I remember correctly the NAVY only pays for our traveling if we go directly to our stationed base.
