Is there anyone know why deferral is not possible for Dental programme at USyd this year? The interview letter has stated this fact.

Thanks.

Dunno.. but why are you thinking of deferring? You should take the offer! 🙂

Well. I'm now working on a biotech project and probably will finish in 1-year time and need to earn more money.
1 year deferral would be a perfect plan for me. Anyway, I'm still waiting for offer announcement.

just email/call them to ask. No one here knows or will answer u BUT bear these in mind

1. you are an international full fee paying student, so in all likelyhood, they like to keep you

2. Usyd increase their fees at 5% per year...at 40K per year tuition feees, it's not cheap and yeah, auzzie dollar is appreciating against sing dollars

Understandable.

I'm running 300 k of debt. and it's really stressful. Especially when
you watch all your peers travel to exotic places frequently, buy new cars,
and get mortgages. Thankfully I am happy with my >15 year old car.

You may be able to get a part time job down here that will help during your studies. I know several people who got a job at a dentist's office helping out.

The wage here is higher... but so is the cost of living.

So what is the average wage of working as a part-time staff in a Dentist's office? And what can we do there?

Thanks.

I've heard it can be up to around 25/hour if you're a part-time DA
